GUILD ACTIVITIES
There are many ways to get involved in LQG. The most obvious way is to attend our regular meetings. To see what programs are planned for the current guild year, visit the Meetings page.Many of the speakers who will be presenting programs at our meetings will also be teaching “hands-on” classes. You will find more information on the Classes page.
In addition to the regular guild meetings, there are smaller groups that meet monthly. Go to the Small Groups page for more information on these groups.
We have a big Quilt Show once every two years.
The guild maintains a Library of quilt related books and magazines.
Looking for a chance to get away for a weekend of sewing with your friends? Attend the annual Fall Retreat for lots of fun and friendship.
Several members of the guild volunteer their time and talent to share their love of quilts with elementary school students in the area. The project is called Discover Nebraska. We have a little bit of information on the Community Outreach page, but Discover Nebraska also has their own website at discovernebraska.org.
