The Lincoln Quilters Guild has awarded two $1,000 scholarships to University of Nebraska at Lincoln students for quilt-related research projects.
Molly McPherson is a Ph. D. candidate in Human Sciences with a Textiles, Merchandising and Fashion Design major. Molly’s anticipated graduation date is May 2019.
Jamie Swartz is a UNL Graduate Student currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree with a Textile History/Quilt Studies major. Jamie plans to graduate December 2017.
Molly and Jamie will present their research to Lincoln Quilters Guild members within a year. We are pleased to provide financial support to Molly and Jamie as they pursue their educational endeavors.
